Yes, shiny reports and graphs are great… I like them. They look so professional… and we all want to be professional. But endless KPIs on click-throughs, page views, keywords, ad conversions, etc., etc. stop being interesting REAL FAST for business owners.
So back to why? Simple. KPIs are marketing agency tools for measuring progress. But as a business owner what I need is more customers and ROI. If I pay you $10,000 what am I getting? What is my ROI?I can guarantee you show your clients their ROI… talk about how you can improve it, or cut off the money bleeding, and they will be loyal and happy clients for a long time.
